So glad you were able to make it out to the Chicago Cashflow Breakfast Club @Eshe Harvey!

You definitely did not give off the introvert vibe, so great job fooling the rest of us.  Hope to see you at the next one on Mayth!

Haha not going to lie, I might’ve fooled you just a little—but I definitely felt the introvert nerves under the surface.

I appreciate you circling back and keeping the energy warm—it really meant something to me. Even small gestures say a lot.

I’ll definitely be at the next event. I’m staying consistent, and excited to keep showing up and growing.See you May 17th!

My dad constantly tells me something that I will never forget:

Opportunity is nowhere .....or now here. Depends on how you read it."

He was right!

Rates are up. prices are high.

But those who shift their perspective are still finding doors open.

What are YOU seeing?

Just wanted to drop some weekend motivation.  Enjoy your weekend everyone and stay motivated, don't give up.

Quote from @Kasi V.:

Sure, people connections are key—but hanging out in forums like this, picking up tips and pretending we know what we’re doing? Equally vital. And hey, you’re already nailing it! 😀

And online tools for remote investors are great. With so many  out there, you literally never need to step out—I mean, I’ve invested in six properties and haven’t even set foot in three of them.....and it’s worked out just fine! Let me know if you want a list of those tools—everything from property analysis, finding tenants, and rent comps to management, repairs, and maintenance is just a few clicks away

Thank you so much Kasi! I really appreciate that encouragement- means a lot as I am growing in this space. I would definitely be interested in the list of tools you mentioned. Would love to see what's been working well for you on remote side! Feel free to message me.

Quick question for experienced and the up and coming, who do you consider essential in your circle as a real estate investor? Is it your go-to contractor, agent, attorney, business partner... or maybe someone outside of real estate who keeps you grounded?

I am currently learning, networking, and building, and I am super curious about what your "inner circle" looks like when it comes to building and maintaining success in this space.

Would love to hear your thoughts- I know there is wisdom in the mix here!

Attorney, Realtor, Title Company, Contractor, Property Manager, Preservation Companies, BPO Companies, Lenders, Insurance Companies.

Appreciate it Chris! I am just getting into the investing space and learning how important it is to build the right circle early. Grateful for this platform and for people like you showing up in it.

Also add note investors (I am one), and I always tell people if you are looking for off market deals, we are your best source as we know a lot of people who have foreclosures or REO's and note investors are typically tired landlords who know longer want to own property and find someone to take it off their hands

That is extremely helpful, Chris - thank you. I would love to stay in touch and learn more from your perspective on note investing and off-market opportunities. If there is ever a way to collaborate or learn more from what you are doing with 7e, I would be excited to connect further.

Quote from @James Hamling:

I am not sure I understand the essence of the question your asking @Eshe Harvey

My network is the people I do, have done or may do business with.

My circle are those I'd invite out on my boat and to have lunch or a beer.

The 2 may happen to cross at times but they are 2 very distinctively different groups.

I have persons in my network that I've done business with 10, 15, 20 odd years who have 0 clue of where or how I live or anything of my "inner circle".

The Inner Circle is for Me, about me the person. And I prefer to be the dumbest in the crowd. Associate and appreciate those better and brighter than you, learning and elevation is a natural result. And give freely at any/every opportunity called upon. Karma banking.

My network is just about getting things done.

Your message really gave me a lot to think about - thank you for breaking that down so clearly. I
definitely respect the way you separate your network from your circle, and that part about karma
banking? Chefs kisses!

I'm in a space where I'm intentionally growing and aligning with the right people, and your words
reminded me I'm moving in the right direction.

Appreciate you taking the time to share that with me.

For 25 years, I have just used a trusted agent for finding properties and screening tenants and a dependable handyman who can fix anything for a reasonable price.

Appreciate you sharing that, Eric! There's so much power in keeping your circle strong and consistent. I am definitely working on building my go to- to team like that . Thank you for your insight.

Quote from @Michael Smythe:

People that believe in what you are doing, who offer support when things go wrong, instead of "I told you so".

Wow. That hit home way deeper than you know. I have experienced the " I told you so " energy too often in life-so hearing this from someone that gets it means a lot. I have learned to keep my circle small and my mission loud. Messages like this remind me I am not the only one wired this way.
