This may seem like a naive/juvenile question to someone of experience, and I'm new so here it goes.

What positive/negative sides are there to having a lender who isn't local to the area I'm looking to purchase?
Does it matter at all??

Thanks in advance!

Hey, my name is Erin.
I'm 37 years old and brand new to real estate investing.

My goal is cash-flow from a multi-family via house hacking for my first property.
My goal is to do my first deal on a 4-plez by March 6th, 2025.

I live in Tampa, FL which seems to be a good market to start for my goals.

Thank you for having me here!!

That's awesome Erin! What steps are you taking now to make this goal happen in the next 6 months??

 Hey Rene!!
I'm reading "The small and Mighty Real Estate Investor" now, connecting here on BP, and thinking through where exactly I'd like to start my journey!

I want to move out of Florida, and wondering if outer cities near Nashville would fit my goals.
