Thank you all for the warm welcomes and pointers! I work from home most days and have the podcasts playing in the background. Even with divided attention, I am picking up some great nuggets of wisdom.

Greetings everyone,

My name is Eric. I wanted to introduce myself to the people that make up this wealth of knowledge also known as BiggerPockets.com! I live in Spring Branch, Texas, which is just north of San Antonio, Texas.

I'm currently in the education phase of R/E investing. I've spent the last 15+ years in software engineering and application development. I'm at the point where I know I don't want to be writing gibberish 10 years from now, and it is time to take steps towards that goal. Ideally I'd like to have a stream of income that allows me to spend my golden years tubing down the Guadalupe river! Partially kidding.

I sincerely look forwarding to meeting and interacting with others with similar (or opposite!) goals. Thanks for taking the time to read another newbie intro post!
