@Joe Villeneuve. I’m thick skinned and am here to learn. I like your baseball analogy. You’re right it is always easier to assume the worst. That is the hurdle to get over. I like to ask questions regardless of how stupid even I may think they are because it’s all part of learning.  I’m grateful for you taking the time to respond. As a newbie to get in I am a skeptic and wanted to make sure I’m not drawn in with simplicity - hence suckers play. Thank you for the feedback!

I see several turn key properties in the listings.  Has there been success with these types of buys?  Using the analysis tools many seem to work based in the numbers even using a small buffer for inputs. Just looking to see if there has been any success with them or is this a suckers play......

Just getting started with Real Estate. Looking at the local market and using some the tools to analyze properties it doesn’t seem to make sense where I currently live.

Would it be prudent to start with a property manager in an area that makes sense before jumping into a purchase?
