Post: Meeting investors after Covid

Pre covid it seems it was easier to network and meet potential investors.

It honestly isn't the same to meet someone face to face than on a zoom call.

I moved to Denver 6 months ago and I see a lot of opportunities here that would love to find investors locally and from other states that might want to invest in this market.

Any advice? Are the REI groups very active still after covid? Are they mostly meeting online?

Thank you

Eric

@Kaylee Walterbach I'm proud to say that I will be buying my 14th flip next week (this is my first year flipping) and that I've read 109 books so far this year. About 15 percent on real estate investment.

Still 10 more weeks to go in the year. A lot more can still be achieved.

@Nate Sanow I totally agree with you. Get started with one but change your mindset and think about all the possibilities. You will learn a lot from the first one.

@Jasmine Russell i moved to to the USA from El Salvador in 2016. With our luggages and $3000.

My first job was assistant of Brick layer, $6 an hour. It was extremely hard for me and my wife and 2 kids.

In 2020 i started to learn about house flipping. Next week I'm buying my 14th house of 2021.

I'm not "rich" yet but I'm on a great path.

@Devante Cameron where are you based?

The best way to learn is doing a deal.

If you want I could jump on a quick call with you and guide you on how to do your first deal even if you don't have money. Not selling anything. Just paying forward what someone did for me.

Shoot me a direct message if you want to.

Eric

Great thread. Enjoy learning about self-storage. I was actually reading on finding Self Storage owner who might be interested in selling. Thanks for sharing @Nathan Gesner and starting this post.

Hi @Mark Cermak, I’m moving to Denver in a couple weeks. I’m interested in starting to meet investors and people in the industry. Sign me up.

Thanks
