Thank you for the response, luckily it turned out to be less of a big deal because the DOR was able to get back to me in a few days instead of their originally quoted 10 business day turn around. With a 30 day closing window that would not be a problem but when that window is 10 business days and you're told two days in that you need this certificate for closing it gets a little problematic. Anyway, thank you again for your response.

Hi all, Quick question regarding paperwork required when selling/flipping a home as an LLC. I’m being asked for a certificate of compliance from the department of revenue and wanted to see if anyone else had run into this. I was told it’s a new regulation to make sure investors are paying their taxes, so far it’s been a pain in the butt. Thanks for your help! Eric
