@Barry Pekin

Well if you say so haha I guess to add on to my first question, what if realtors in your preferred marketing area are paying a sales tax? Does that mean you have to also?

@Barry Pekin

Thanks, I just wanted to cover all my bases before I get started so nothing could sneak up on me.

Hello everyone, I’m new to real estate investing and wanting to become an investor one day, and wholesaling is where I want to start. I’m reading and watching YouTube but the one question I had was, do you need a sales tax license to wholesale? (if the state requires it)

@Charles Carillo

Yes, there will be a partner that is local. But I also want to be present for finding and making deals with said partner. I'm just not sure how to pull off working my day job (for the time being) and tie into REI.

I want to get into real estate investing, but as of right now I’m working full time and my job requires me to be gone (whether a few weeks or a few months) from home or where I potentially want to own/invest in property. Are there any kind of steps or strategies I could take to make this possible?
