Yes, I'm currently working with my agent to find properties in the area. I thought it would be a good idea to also post here to see if anyone had additional insight, recommendations, and suggestions.

Hi Everyone,

I am relatively new to Bigger Pockets and am looking to purchase my first condo. I have been looking primarily in the Buckhead, Brookhaven, Sandy Springs, and Vinings areas so far but can be persuaded to look elsewhere based on any recommendations in this thread. Below are some important criteria that I am looking for in a condo/complex. Does anyone have any condo complex or specific location recommendations based on the criteria that I have listed below? Also, any general advice that you have for a first-time condo buyer in the Atlanta-area would be great!

Criteria:

- List price of $215k or below that is basically move-in ready

- 3 bed/2 bath or 2 bed/2 bath

- Monthly HOA fee that does not exceed $500

- Complex that will allow rentals (it's ok if they have some restrictions such as a wait list or a specified number of units that can be rented at one time)

- Ideally the complex would have pool and tennis, but at least one of the two is fine

- Relatively close to restaurants/shopping, parks, and/or a major attraction (i.e. SunTrust Park)

- Decent-to-good school district with low crime rates

- Complex or area that has a lot of people my age (I am 26)

Thanks,

Eric
