Currently looking to start investing in Huntsville, AL. I do not have a lot of knowledge in the Huntsville market; hence, looking for a real estate agent with investing background.

For now I would like to first learn as much as I can and apply my project management skills. I would also like to generate passive income over time but the truth is I will need a little bit more money to start expanding. so ideally I would love to do project management and start with some flipping to build some investment money to acquire the rental properties in the future. I have been reading at building codes to have a better understanding of the field. but as my priority I would like to get a construction project management job, improve the skills and then jump on it feeling more confident. It is just a matter of starting. But to answer my first question I think rentals are good in the long term but maybe not in the beginning if I want more capital

Hello, my name is Elisa Prado, bilingual, civil engineer and i am new in bigger pockets. I would like to introduce myself and start creating a network. I currently live in Birmingham, AL and me and mys husband are moving to Huntsville, AL next year. We are fascinated with investing into real estate and we have been saving as much as we can to start out adventure as soon as we arrive over there. Ideally, I would like to obtain a job in a construction company that deals with real estate. My passion is Project Management and Interior Design. I have been reading tons of books and learning different building codes to start learning the dos and don'ts or REI and construction. The main question that comes to mind is: If i would like to grow capital to keep investing, is flipping my best option when compared to rentals? Also, I just dont know where to start, other than getting to know the market i would like to invest first. Is anybody currently investing in Huntsville,AL? Thanks

Hello. I hope you guys are doing wonderful today. My name is Elisa Prado. I currently live in Birmingham, AL but I have subscribed my profile as if I was in Philadelphia. The reason why is because I fell in love with the city and I am pursuing to move there at the end of this year. I made a decision to finally follow my dreams and start into Real Estate Investing. I am personally fascinated with the renovation/rehabbing/flipping aspect. I am a civil engineer so I am more involved in the construction part which is what I love. However, I would like to know if Philadelphia is a good market for the real estate investing, and if it is, is it better for holding, renting or just flipping? I would appreciate any comments
