Buy a prime condo in NYC, about 10mil, and houses in each of my favorite locations(probably 2mil total). Put about 5 mil into reserves and then buy sky scrapers in trouble or whatever I could purchase and rehab/hold for multi-hundred million deals.

I would probably buy decent cars to go with each house too, like Audi 8's or 10's.

Older post but I typically buy silver whenever I have bulk cash sitting around. I have plans to liquidate and get into real estate when I come back from my deployment in September.

I'm home for the holidays in NYC. But I live in El Paso normally. Was asking because I just noticed an add draped on the side of a building, maybe 10 story tall building, figure it isn't cheap so there's got to be money made here as well.

What kind of writing would there be for a finders/bird dog fee?

Well, I don't have the cash to do much in NYC, but like I said, I've got one family member looking for another property here, so I figured I'd ask as to what kind of deals people find here. I noticed a big "we buy houses" sign with an 800-number. The guy sounded middle eastern and said if you lead him to a deal he'd buy, he'd pay up to 10k as a finders fee after he closed. So I imagine the numbers are pretty up there in terms of deals.

I'm wet behind the ears but I'm home for Christmas and I have one family member looking to buy another property here(he's the one that got me into the whole real estate idea).

If for nothing else, maybe I could get an idea as to what kind of deals by price amount go on here.

Thanks in advance

Lol, Well there has to be some kind of money made for any kind of cut :)

Seriously though, I do appreciate all the pointers and leads.

Will Barnard Well, I sent you a PM, I'm all ears manno.

I'm curious about all these venue's I am see'ing.

oh yeah, will you be offering any form of financing? or will i have to rely on more conventional means?

I feel schooled, thanks for the info. I'll be waiting for it with anticipation.

I want to hit the ground running when I get back in september.
