I'm not sure how to tag people on this but thanks for the replies!!

Joseph Firmin: Awesome tips, I took some notes down on those exit strategies, definitely new to me. Yes emergency fund is my priority right now, I'll get there eventually.

David Pere: Good to hear from you Sarge, I'm a subscriber of From Military to Millionaire on YouTube, I haven't been on there in a while but I learned a lot from your podcasts. Yes the rewards are definitely greater than risks, I guess I need to reduce some risks by attacking debt first. Have you ever had problems finding tenants? Im worried I'll get a property and no tenants and I'm stuck with payments and no cash flow.

Lee Burns: Thank you for service. You're on the spot with finding a path. That is why im here on Bigger Pockets, theres a wealth of information on here and Im excited to pick the brains of everyone. Im in Georgia at the moment looking to get rental properties.

I am curious to see if anyone else shares my dilemma. I am in the service, bought my 1st property and fixed it up, currently my primary residence. I want to expand my real estate portfolio, but am too nervous to rack on more payments to my current military salary. I see great deals in my area but I hesitate constantly in fear of putting myself in financial hardship. Has anyone been stuck in a similar situation and took a step to further themselves? Thank you in advance.
