@Manju Nat Spokane's rental and appreciation potential have remained strong throughout COVID. Here are some stats from Apartment List: "Spokane had the nation’s fastest monthly rent growth at 8.1% in June and rates are up more than 31% since the start of the pandemic."

That's an awesome goal - love it! I'd say definitely house hack your next purchase if you can. Buy a small multi-family and live in one of the units, rent out a room in a single-family home or do a live-in flip/value add on a SF home. Appreciation in Spokane has been around 11-16% YOY (depending on what you're looking at), so definitely the sooner you get in the better!
