Hey everyone! I just passed my real estate salesperson license exam in Pennsylvania. I am currently living in Pittsburgh and mainly got my license for the purposes of being able to do my own deals on investment properties. Any recommendations on brokers? Looking for minimal fees and requirements as I have another full-time job and am not looking to be a full-time agent, but rather just use my license for personal investment needs.

What's the general take on this area of the city? Possibly one of the next big areas of development along with Stanton Heights?

Warrick Wadman I agree with Jamie. If you can find properties closer to Regent Square area I think those would be more attractive. In central Wilkinsburg crime rates are super high!

Jeremy Pace thanks for the reply! Yes I would love to find a duplex. I want to stay in the general east side area of the city (Highland Park, East Liberty, Shadyside, Squirrel Hill, Point Breeze Morningside, etc..)

Hey Everyone! I moved to Pittsburgh a little over 3 years ago and love this city. I currently rent in Shadyside and am looking to buy my first home/delve in the real estate investing world in the next year. BP has been an awesome learning source for me. I'm looking to get more involved in the community and get to know more investors in this city. If anyone out there wants to connect and trade info/ideas please let me know!
