Hi all,

I am a new investor interested in multi-family homes in Maine (open to a few different areas surrounding Portland). I was wondering - is there a particularly good website for finding foreclosure / REO / short-sale properties? I know there must be a ton, but none of the websites I'm finding are very good or user-friendly. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

I have been trying to do this as well, but I've gotten pretty terrible rates quoted for a jumbo loan!  One lender told me that the banks are completely jammed up right now with conventional purchase loans and have little appetite for jumbo cash-out refis.  Has anyone else heard this?  I was shocked to hear that many people would be buying right now (given the current circumstances) rather than refinancing...
