Hello BP members, this year I want to start my first Fix&Flip in the state of South Carolina. What are some of the main questions I should be asking myself?

I’ve been in the flooring industry for quite a while and basically everyone of my closest friends are in painting, roofing, plumbing, real estate.

@Matthew Von Dwingelo

Hey! So you're saying he can use an FHA loan on the first property and then if he decides to move out of state or if he found another property in the same region he can re-apply for the FHA again as long as he's living there?

Best,

Wow, I’m inspired even more now. I am currently in the process of purchasing my first duplex and house hacking it. Then continue to purchase more properties and rent the rooms individually in college towns.

Good day BP! I've been working with a builder for quite a while, installing their tile and hardwood flooring. Recently they just started on a new development(3/2, SFH, 150k's) and I figured I haven't bought my first home yet why not build my first one, since I can install the flooring and do the painting myself. Although, I have one problem, I am self-employed and have only been in business since last July. Mortgage companies I've heard only take on companies or owners that's been in business for over 2 years. But in other words I do have about 15% i can put down or 20%. Any help?
