Thank you all for the Welcome and advice. I will begin the books tonight and I will look up REIA in my area.

Yes, I am into flipping houses in Southern California.  Crazy huh?  So far I have only renovated and moved into my first rental.  Now I am on my way to my first real flip.  My name is Liz Haviland and the only background I have is the experience of fixing up this rental after having to evict my tenants.  Lots of lessons there.  Boy I think I have definately learned what sweat equity is and I have become quite handy which enables me to fix things instead of calling a handy man.  I enjoy decorating and fixing things. I am developing my system to fix and flip and know that there will be forever something to learn and I have a small team now to help me locate and fund properties.  Now I just have to find a good deal.  I'm so excited. You see I just lost my job of 35 years and so this is my opportunity to start again and so I am jumping into real estate with my whole body and mind.  

     My search for information on the internet has brought me to this website.  I know when I read the conditions of joining the group that I was in the right place.  Everything presented was to the point, honest and concise.  I loved it! I thought I was hearing myself talking when I read them.  My goal now is to enjoy my new adventure in life, flipping houses, help others, become a cash buyer and progress to own 5 rentals within the next six years.  I can do this, ... We can do this.... Thank you in advance for the info. I know I am about to learn and thank you BP for existing.
