@Nick Quarandillo Hey Nick! I am in the same boat as you! I have felt like that for years every semester. I am currently a Junior at Ohio State. I think it is really tough when you are taking general education classes and want to be more into business and Real Estate classes. I will tell you that it gets better! I am having so much fun learning for the first time in a long time with school since moving into my business related classes. However, college isn’t for everyone. Maybe try to find a mentor who is doing what you want to do and meet with them regularly while you are still in school and start taking steps towards your real estate goals while you are in school. Or you could get your real estate license! Another great option if it would be a good fit for you. For me, I am trying to get experience and learn on my own outside of the classroom! And I’m crawling to the finish line with school..... it is tough but I see it worth it to keep going. But that might be different for you! Good luck with whatever you decide!

@Brandon Sturgill Hi Brandon! It is a very sparse market.... I am actually looking to house hack in Plain City so other markets wouldn’t be ideal. I have considered it though!

@Jeff Beaman Some use Airbnb’s pricing but others use an outside source and pay them to choose the prices for them. I am not sure what that source is though. Also, they manually raise the prices if an event is happening near the Airbnb that would cause a lot of people to want to book. Another good person to follow on Instagram is @bacheloretteflippad. She is a realtor and flips houses / does Airbnb. She frequently posts on her blog with number on how her Airbnb is doing. Here is a link to her blog https://bachelorettepadflip.com/blog/ . And if you go to her bio on Instagram she does frequent posts on homes.com as well. She has a link in her bio to all of her resources. All very interesting! You might have to scroll through her blog to see Airbnb posts... I know she has two of them and is very open about it.

@Jeff Beaman if you want to know more about people renting out on Airbnb - I follow @nestrs and @thanksforvisiting_ on Instagram and they are always posting about how they use Airbnb! Might be a great resource! I highly suggest checking out doing Airbnb... I am very interested in it myself. I know people who do it in the city and in the suburbs and make more than they would than typical renting. Do your homework on it though to see if your space would be a good fit! Good luck :)

Hi Investors of Columbus, Ohio

My name is Elizabeth and I am a third year Marketing and Real Estate student at The Ohio State University. I am an avid listener of the Bigger Pockets Podcast trying to gain as much knowledge as I can until I am financially able to get started investing.

I am currently looking for an internship for the summer of 2019 in Columbus, Ohio in the Real Estate field. I am willing to do whatever you would need me to do - from filing papers, to getting coffee, to running errands - whatever you need, I would love to do it. I am eager to learn from someone who has experience in the Real Estate field.

My parents own a few rentals and over the past couple months we have been renovating a cottage we bought on Indian Lake. I have learned a lot of the ins and outs of property management and renovations. I am excited to learn even more from others!

Although I am a beginner, I have a lot to bring to the table because I am eager and ready to get started. Looking forward to hearing back from my Columbus people! Have a great day and go bucks!!
