Dear Clients and Colleagues:
We at Innovative Closing Solutions are doing our best to stay abreast of the dynamic situation known as the Coronavirus Pandemic. While we intend to keep operating as an essential business in the legal services industry, we want you to know that we are taking certain measures in an attempt to promote the safety and health of our clients, employees, and colleagues.
First, we will be implementing social distancing standards to the fullest extent possible. For our Greensboro location, we will seat you in our conference room immediately upon arrival. For our Winston-Salem location, we ask that you not enter the office proper, but remain in the lobby until we can attend to you. We will have hand sanitizer available at each location for your use. Also, we will be scheduling greater blocks of time for each appointment so that there will be fewer people in the space at any given time. Finally, we will plan to wipe down the common areas with sanitizing wipes after each use.
Additionally, we would ask that you bring your own pen for signing or, if not, we will ask you to take our pen with you after signing. We will not be handling your photo identification, rather we will scan it at the conference table using a mobile device.
If you do not feel comfortable coming to either of our locations, we will arrange for a remote closing of your portion of the transaction. Please note that you will need to sign the documents necessary for closing in the physical presence of a notary public. Remote closing does require that the original signed and notarized documents be returned to our office before the transaction can be recorded and funded. In consideration of the extenuating circumstances COVID-19 presents, we will waive our remote closing fee for the foreseeable future.
Finally, if you are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, have been in contact with someone who may have COVID-19, suspect that you may have COVID-19, or have been diagnosed as positive for COVID-19, please notify us immediately and do not come to our offices. In addition, if you have traveled outside the USA, or domestically in California, New York and/or Washington State, or have traveled via airplane, within the last 14 days, please notify our office by phone.

Sincerely,
Brian H Elam,
Managing Attorney
