That is a good idea, I didn't think about getting it permitted without the amnesty. The penalty I would pay without amnesty is probably much less than the lost revenue while waiting.

Fellow RE investors,

I've applied to the SJ ADU amnesty program 18 months ago to legalize an unpermitted ADU, but it still hasn't move forward at all. As far as I understand, they didn't hire inspectors yet to initiate the inspections.

Is anyone else waiting for this program? I was wondering if you have any additional information or heard of any ETA.
