Can I just answer yes??

We are looking into all options and I am sure we will explore hard money as well as conventional and other types of financing.  The only thing that I am sure of is that we will be entering in residential properties since that is what we know best - both single and multi family homes.

Thank you! I have been very sick, so unable to go to any meetings - but I have been eyeing the several groups in the area and wondering which would be the best place to get started. I will likely start with that being my first REI club meeting.

Thanks for the welcome.  I look forward to meeting you in person.

I work at Boeing, so I know the plans for the plant and the area.  The large companies tend to feed off of each others workforce, so it is actually Space X, and not Boeing's expansion, that will create the potential.  There is a lot of change in the area and I look forward to seeing the Everett area develop into more than it is.

Thank you for your post. I am interested in investing in the Whidbey Island, Mukilteo and Everett areas, which means Everett will probably be the place I start just because it is SO much cheaper. It is amazing the difference a school zone makes!

I have read the Ultimate Guide, but I had forgotten to set up my keywords. Thank you for the reminder.

Pretty much what I was expecting to hear. The good W2 I have, the 25% down is the waiting game. My boyfriend and I recently bought the SFR we live in - and his needs are difficult to fulfill, so I don't see us moving anytime soon.

As my cash accumulates, I will continue reading and researching.  Thanks for your information.

I am just getting serious about REI and am taking the time to read as much as I can, go to REI meetings, listening to podcasts and begin planning my support team.

I have several ideas on how I want the structuring and maintaining of the business to be organized so that I can continue to work for another 5-10 years, but I will be limited on the money end until next year.  Having said that, I am eager to get started, so I am open to learning on the "no money down" concept - which will be especially important in this area.

My REI preferences (at this point) are apartments, SFR and duplex's.

I have need of a tax/real estate attorney and an accountant, so any referrals are welcome.

In addition, I know that most investors use LLC's, but should I set one up before the properties have been purchased, or obtain the property and then open the LLC?

I look forward to interacting with everyone in the future.
