The house was actually built in 1982, so there was no reason to suspect asbestos just your averaged textured ceiling with compound.

Does anyone know of a GC or handyman that services West Palm Beach area? I have contacted many contractor companies from Angie's list or online and the bids are ridiculous like $2200.00 just to remove popcorn ceiling in a 800sqft home. I know a handyman that would fix drywall, remove popcorn ceiling, interior and exterior paint and more for that price but does not service West Palm Beach. I am currently about to begin a project within a week a Spanish style home that has to be completely gutted and will only spend no more than 30k on the rehab. I just need a legit licensed GC or handyman that does quality work that does not overcharge or just in it for the money. Also depending on the quality of work and reliability, I would definitely love to establish a great working relationship to help with future projects.
