We closed with BBVA as well several months ago...pretty painless. They had a slight hiccup with the acquisition by PNC bank, but overall I would recommend

Hi @George A. Douty II- Congrats on the investment! We own a small portfolio of SFRs in the Austin metro area and are looking into expanding in the STR space as well. We love the Canyon Lake area (after taking many vacations there) and I would appreciate chatting with you briefly about your experience. Do you mind if I DM you?

Thanks

Hi Folks

We are trying to get a HELOC on our primary residence in order to grow our rental business. Running into a tough time (Amplify CU had some really weird rules around recognizing rental income from our other properties). Can anyone recommend a HELOC provider they have successfully worked with? Alternatively, a portfolio lender or bank that we can work with to get a portfolio LOC?

Thanks

Edwin

Our goal is to generate about $120K in income per year in our retirement. We would like to do this with a mix of real estate, stock/bonds and a "lifestyle" business ie something that we really enjoying doing to keep our minds sharp in retirement. Ideally, that translates to a net worth between $5M-$7M which would be very safe compared to our annual spend.
