Hey Bigger Pocket Community,

Looking for a reliable CPA in my local area (Long Beach, CA)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone I’m a rookie investor and new to BP forums, been listening to their podcast a little over two months now and reading everything I can just to expand my knowledge on investing. I’ve recently bought a duplex (1year ago) and it’s been going great. My first investment property in the books! My questions are; 1.) how soon can I start looking into the next investment (do I have to wait a year or two)? 2.) how do I save up money/or come up with funds for the down payment for the second and third property?

Any advice/guidance would greatly be appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

@Nathan G. Thank you!

@Jonathan Pavkov thank you! I appreciate all the great info that everyone has been giving me. The type of market im interested in and see myself building growth is Residential real estate (multi family units).

@Nathan G. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Again great advice and I’ll definitely be looking around in my local area. Before looking , is there specific things you’re looking for in a “good” CPA?

@Bill Hampton thank you ! I’ll look around in my local area for an accountant and go from there.

Hey everyone,

Just bought my first multi family property (duplex). Excited that I made the jump into “financial freedom”. Anyways I’m looking for guidance or just a helping hand into the world of taxes. Im knowledgeable on a few things that can be deducted but to be honest I have other questions that I feel can be best answered with a phone call. I hope someone can help!

Thank you!!!
