Hi Ryan

I'm in the same exact boat as you right now. How is your search coming along? I've been hearing the time has passed to buy low in Brooklyn (I'm not letting that stop me though) yet in East Flatbush and certain areas of Queens bordering Brooklyn there are still good deals to be had. I also hear Jersey City is a great place to invest and in many cases you'll be able to find larger multi unit properties for your price point -- however I don't know the market in Jersey as well yet.

Hi Scott,

Congrats, that's a huge step! I'm in the process of looking for a 2 or 3 family in the Bushwick area and have been trying to find a great contractor to team up with as well. I'll be following this thread and I'd love to hear more about your experiences.

Hi Everyone,

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and it has always been my dream to invest in real estate here. I'm in the process of searching for my first multi-family properly in the Bushwick/BedSty/Crown Heights/Ridgewood areas. I know this is a really tough market and there is a lot for me to learn, so I'm looking forward to becoming part of this community and learning from the best!

Send me a message if you want to connect. If you're a new investor as well, let's support one another!

Thanks,

Eddie
