I recently got married and moved into my wife's current home where she has the standard Texas homestead exemption.  I'm over 65 and had the over 65 exemption on my former home, which I sold this month.  What is the process for getting my over 65 exemption transferred to my wife's property, which I now have a community property interest because of our recent marriage?  Does she have to execute a warranty deed that details my community interest in the property?
