A business that teaches something new everyday is exciting to me. The note business has opened many new doors for me, but has taught me many things as well. For example I learned something I would like to share with BP.
There are many listing websites for trust deeds/mortgages. I have yet to use them because I believe they aren't as helpful as people may think. My reason is this, once a note is posted on these listing sites the value of the note decreases. Why? Because the more people who research the note the less valuable it becomes. The longer it is posted the less interest investors will have. I am not saying these sites don't work for some, however I do beleive the best way to sell a note is through a professional finder or broker. In fact better than using a listing website locate a finder/broker that you trust to help sell your note(s). Interview a few to find one that works best for your needs. Locate note finders/brokers who have buyers ready to purchase notes. Selling a note is very similar to selling the actual property so make sure you have someone on your team who will work hard to help you attain your goals.

I appreciate this thread. There is much to learn about RE investing and there are many different personality types in this world. Some people understand the concept of due diligence and others...well and there are others. I come from a very diverse career background and the one thing I've learned in my career is educate yourself. Spend the time and money it takes to do something right and the rewards will be great. I may be a noob but I know enough to know there is much I still need to learn.
Thanks for this thread.

Thank you for the reply. I understand it takes hard work, but I am a firm believer that good things in life are worth working hard for. My current business model is to find people who have monthly payments secured by property(note) and connect them with buyers for those payments. I have contact with a network of buyers and am currently looking for sellers.

Hello all my name is Gage and I am new to this site and RE industry. I just recently started a business and am looking those who are currently or will be receiving payments on a private loan secured by property. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appriciated.

A little about me. My finacee and I recently moved from the midwest to Colorado. We are expected our first child, which is extremely excited.
I look forward to networking on this site and meeting new people.
Thank you,
Gage
