I'm interested in virtual wholesaling but have never done it. How do you estimate the rehab if you haven't visited the property, and how do you get pictures of the property to send to buyers? Do you have someone on the ground doing these tasks for you, or do you do it 100% virtually?

Thanks!

I reached out to a real estate agent who is in Spokane who had posted something about wholesaling and I asked him if he wanted to partner on deals. I bring in leads and he is able to go see the property in person. Hope that helps!

I'm in a similar situation as you and I've turned to virtual wholesaling. Definitely a little tricky but if you find the right partners, more than doable!

Hey Azzam,

I don't have any experience with Flipster or Facebook Leads either. I am wholesaling virtually and what's been working for me is calling Title Companies for list (non owner occupied as @Blaine Alger said.) Then I use Batch Leads to send out texts. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hey Demari,

I am also under 18 and in my state, you have to be an adult to sign a contract. If a parent or someone else over the age of 18 is willing to be your "partner" and sign for you then you're good. I'm looking into wholesaling, what kind of investing are you looking into?

To give a little more information, I am graduating high school with an Associates Degree. What areas of study do you recommend?

If you were to restart your life at 17 already knowing you want to get into real estate investing, would you go to college with a full-ride or would you get started investing without wasting any time, and why?

Hello Everyone,

My name is Edgar, I’m sixteen years old, I live in NYC and want to learn as much as possible about real estate. I have been listening to podcasts, doing research, and reading as much as I can but there is no substitute for real-life experience.

I’m not yet 18 and can’t go out and buy a property, so I’d like to tag along with someone that can. As of right now, I’m most interested in wholesaling, house hacking, and multi-family investing, but I’d be thrilled to learn from anyone involved in the real estate industry.

I hope to also be able to add value. I have experience with social media, I am good with technology, and have years of experience with photography. I am a fast learner, really organized, and have good people skills. I will do the tedious work nobody wants to do.

I have three summers of work experience in different areas (maintenance, cashier, customer service), so I’m comfortable talking to people, am responsible, and work hard. I’m a straight-A student at Bard Manhattan High School Early College and I have interned for a NYC architecture firm in the past. I am fluent in French and am learning Spanish.

If anyone has advice on finding an unpaid internship or a position that will allow me to shadow someone working in real estate, it’d be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Edgar
