hi all

I would love to get some perspective from your expertise, we have a property that we would have to sell in 2025 to avoid paying taxes on the capital gains, we believe we can sell it for $700K and get an equity of almost $500K after paying the mortgage balance, if we invest all of it option in index funds at 7% rate (standard com growth calculator), or in more rental properties as we are all here for, I can get the equity of around $900K.

option B would be keep paying the house at 2.3% int rate while we have it in AirBnB and maybe sell it in 10 years for $900K, knowing that we would be paying taxes but it is not that bad still. or we can 1031 at that point?

What would you do? am I missing something? thanks everyone

hey @Ryan Blackstone
do you know if they ever have virtual meet ups, I can't make it in person right now but I would love to start connecting

thank you very much for all your comments, I was curious about the LLC as it maybe an easier way to separate the family business part from my own, since the capital source, expenses and earnings will be separate I'm trying to keep it as clean as possible while leveraging when possible.
everyone's comments are aligned and I will talk to a CPA, by the way! last year I did my taxes with a random HR Block person as I was doing no fun! but now is different, as I form my team it would be pretty cool if you can share some CPA contacts in the NWA area familiar with Real Estate investing!.
Again thanks for all your help!

hi everyone!

I'm looking to start investing into Multifamily/AirBnB together with my fiancé but we would like to hear from your experience what is the best way to get started in regards to creating LLC and taxes implications. We might also need some help on how to manage real estate investments with family in parallel to our own gig.

I would love to connect and brainstorm on the best ways to go forward!
