Post: One or two Commercial RE Brokers

Hello everyone,

I have two commercial properties (one retails shop and the other an office warehouse) that I need to lease. My question is, should I give it to just one broker or should I get a broker for each property? They are in the same Albuquerque market (one in Bernalillo the other one in Rio Rancho). My preference is two so I can test two brokers and from then work with the one that performs. Any thoughts?

Will this work also for retail shops? I am in the initial stage of putting a deal together and I am looking for a tool that will save me time. I do understand the value that a tool like this brings and don't mind paying for it, if it does what I need.

Thanks @Brian M Sweeney I appreciate the reply.

I would like to do my first syndication using this land and gain some experience in syndicating.  What kind of syndication structure can I use to add this land as distribution?

The bank will take this land as part of the down payment; I'll need to raise an additional 200,000.00 for rest.

Construction can take 12 to 15 months, when can the investors expect to receive any money back? Either their preferred return or split?

Hello everyone,

I have a question that is probably very basic but I couldn't find an answer in the forums. Can I include land that I own as part of a syndication deal? If so, how will it be structured? Here is the scenario:

I have a 1.7 acre commercial land/lot that I would like to develop and put retail shops but I don't have the money capital to do it.

Can I create a syndicate to raise money for this project?

The land is located on a busy street with 41000 traffic count weekday and there is a lot of construction going on in the area.

I am sure I need to provide more detail so feel free to ask. Thanks!

I am looking at buying a 74 spaces MHP. The size of the lots will support a home up to 70 ft x 16 ft.

Is this something that I should be concern with? This will be my first MHP but I have been reading and looking for a park for over a year now.

Hi Cameron,

Did you find any good contractors you liked? I have a major rehab project and need a contractor. Thanks!
