I'm currently in the process of creating the LLC for the Checkbook IRA and I have a former employer 401k with +/- $41k that I can withdraw and deposit into the IRA. I've already created the custodian SDIRA. I'm sold on investing in Build-To-Rent (BTR) Multi-Family homes here in SWF. Since the $41k isn't enough to buy a BTR, I considered buying the land with the SDIRA, but then I see issues with getting a loan, traditional, or otherwise, after the construction. So, I'm looking for guidance here, and also, if I am able to pull this off, how do I scale up to 6+ doors a year using the new construction BTR approach?

Thanks in advance for any info!
