@Mitchell Toney

I am in a very similar boat. I’ve come across quite a few deals, but nothing that’s perfect for me. Looking for a buy and hold multi-family in Merion, Hungarian, Clintonville, or Olde Towne East that needs work. Do you know what you’re looking for - for your house hack? I’d love to help if I can. @Luke R. That’s awesome Luke. We started in arbitrage, but ended up creating some relationships with bigger owners in the area. My partner Marc did a great job refining a management model, and putting a pitch together. It’s just taken off from there. We’ve only had to say no to more units. Look forward to hearing more about your endeavors! Ev

@Zeke Liston Hey Zeke! Definitely has taken us for a ride as short term demand dried up, but we were able to pivot and focus on finding medium-term renters. Probably ended up getting around 40-45% less than our normal revenue - just slightly under-market rent for our investors. It ultimately exposed the absolute downside for our business so it’s a win in my book!

When’s the next Lake day? Sign me up. Haha

Hey folks!  I recently started using YourPorter as my PMS to help manage 25 units.  It's certainly bang for your buck and does most of what I need it to, but I am wondering if anyone has 25+ properties that they manage with YourPorter.  I am having my doubts that it is going to be able to hang with me as I continue to grow my portfolio - I'd love to hear about your experiences with managing a large portfolio on YourPorter!

Thanks, Ev

Hey BP family, my name is Evan Winterhalter.  I graduated with an engineering degree from NC State, but my entrepreneurial spirit led me here to Columbus last year.  I operate a short term rental business with 26 units and counting.  We top-to-bottom property manage for investors and get them 25-50% over market rents.  I’m fairly new to real estate investing/rental properties but very committed to learning and bettering myself in the space.  The BP podcast has been on my queue for 6 months or so now, and I’ve been hunting deals on the side.

Last two reads ---- "BRRRR" and "The Book on Estimating Rehab Costs"

Looking forward to meeting some other investors in the area. I actually came across some ripe deals lately, and would love to know what you guys are looking for, and if we might be able to help each other out.

Cheers.
