@Salvatore Lentini

Hi Salvatore!

This is always the question I return to! I’m in a bit of a situation that makes my start in real estate investments unique. I’m in a city that’s offering dollar homes as part of its revitalization phase to bring some property value back to the city. I’m more than ready to purchase a few homes (after recording fees, title insurance, and processing fees of course). However, I am trying to exhaust my options of obtaining funding to bring the homes up to code and ready for habitation. I want to ultimately rent the homes to persons with Section 8 voucher holders to give back to persons in need. I’m just trying to navigate a few things to obtain funding at this point.....

I am a new attorney looking to start investing in real estate in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area. I would like to know if there are any other attorneys here that can lend some advice about their real estate ventures. Specifically, I’d like to know how you managed to devote your time to investing as well as your practice and other career commitments.
