Hey, @Donna Gross I'm a newbie next door in Mississippi. I'm loving the podcasts as well--been plowing through at least one or two a day! Looking forward to getting involved here as well!

Hey @Jonathan Davis welcome to BP. I'm a noob myself over in MS. Looking forward to getting involved here.

Hey, BiggerPockets. This is Eamonn Cottrell from Madison, Mississippi...originally from Knoxville, Tennessee. I'm a financial officer for a chain of espresso cafes here in Mississippi, and have recently been reacquainted with BiggerPockets after stumbling across you guys a few months back.

I'm 30 and am looking 30+ years down the road as I'm sure most everyone else on here is. A group of guys and myself are in the preliminary phases of jumping into the buy/hold business within the next year or so, and I've been educating myself via long stints of podcast listening at 1.5x speed and reading everything I can get my hands on.

We're not opposed to other specialties, but feel that given our circumstances the traditional buy/hold will be what we begin with at least.

My personal goals are to learn everything I can about the various avenues of real estate investing and get my hands dirty with deal number one within the year. Considering diving into real estate license first and foremost.

This is my first honest attempt at becoming an active forum user after years of greedily using the interwebs reservoirs for myself :)
