Hi there, new to the forum and looking forward to learning everyday.

I would like to buy something in the near future in so cal and was wondering what is everyone's experience with purchasing old properties.

Let's say anything build from 1920 and onward.

My goal is to do house hacking on my first purchase and then move on up to OOS investing.

TYI for any input!  I'm eager to learn and connect with anyone willing to mentor me.
