Sam Smith Thanks for the input! I just got really thrown off when I had an agent tell me I would initially need to do a commercial loan. I need to do more research on what that even is exactly. Looks like my next step should just be contacting some lenders and see where I stand financially.

So I'd be starting with a single family home and keep to rent out after rehabbing. Would the "commercial loan" be the high interest loan to begin with?

Currently researching on how to go about my first BRRRR project. An agent I've been speaking to told me I would need to get a commercial loan as the initial loan, followed by a typical mortgage for the refi. Is this correct? Or should I be able to do a traditional mortgage for both stages?
