@Trevor Aydelott

As someone who is getting their real estate license in a month, I couldn’t have stumbled across a better thread. This information is invaluable to someone like me who is yet to take on their real estate career.

There’s no excuse to be ignorant or ill-informed anymore. The internet has given us access to a seemingly infinite amount of information. Any of your questions can be answered at the click of a button. We’re able to easily learn from and connect with some of the greatest minds in the industry.

I suggest that you try calling a newer/younger agent in your area. We may not have a lot of experience but we do have a lot to provide, including passion, technical skills and a will to succeed and prove ourselves in the industry!

Hi. My name is Dylan Kiley and I will be graduating from high school in the spring. I also have had the opportunity to partake in college classes throughout high school so I will be close to graduating with an associates degree by the time that I graduate from high school. I am looking for a broker that will provide interactive learning and development for new agents and a competitive pay split. If you are or know a broker in northeast Ohio that can provide me with these things then please let me now! I am highly motivated and ready to make some sales.

@Jack Medford thank you so much for the reply. I think that you’re absolutely right about the value that attending local meetups can bring me. I will definiteku look into attending local meetups as well contacting brokerages who may need a helping hand. I also appreciate your belief in me as I know that I have a lot to prove in the world of real estate. I see networking as a great way for me to prove my worth to successful investors like you. Thanks again!

@Douglas Christensen Your wisdom is highly appreciated. At this point in my life, I have nothing but time and a burning passion to succeed. I’m the type of person that has to be doing something at all times so receiving actionable advice from someone like you is infinitely valuable to me. I will be sure to look into all of the pathways that you provided me with as well as further researching the life of Dafne Almazan (extremely expiring and bound to leave some success clues). Thank you!

Hi, my name is Dylan and I'm 17 years old & a junior in high school. I'm going to become a licensed real estate agent immediately after I graduate (in the summer of 2020). Since being a real estate agent is all about building relationships with people & getting your name out there, I would love to get a head start in the field by doing all of these things before I even sell my first house. The problem is that I am only 17 and have seemingly nothing to offer and everything to gain. How would you suggest that I get my name out there? And what could I offer to local real estate agents & investors to get them to sit down with me? I want everyone in the area to know who I am by the time that I step on the real estate scene. Thanks!
