I have parents just outside of Ocala and am looking for investment property out there. Ocala, Silver Springs, Belleview, Ocklawaha areas.

I was able to get a couple houses there when the prices were really good and have kept tenants in consistently.

One of the things I will be doing is buying investment properties near my parents in the Ocala FL area. I am not located there so I am looking for any referrals for a Title company to assist with the offers and closing.

I have bought property down there before through a Realtor but finally ready to pursue possible cash purchases and maybe some wholesaling.

For you remote landlords and flippers, how hard is it to get and keep remote team together when you can't be there to oversee the process.

Any tips you can provide is greatly appreciated.

ATTENTION ALL INDIANAPOLIS LANDLORDS AND INVESTORS

Indianapolis Investors

The Indiana State REIA legal councilors have been on the phone today with lobbyists for the Apartment Owners Association due to serious concern over "Proposal #41" being heard TONIGHT at the Indianapolis City County Council.

The essence of the ordinance is a series of fines begining with $500, then $2500, then $7500 PER TENANT and PER OCCURANCE against landlord’s who violate this tenant’s rights ordinance. The ordinance requires written notice to tenant’s of various rights they have, several of which are NOT consistent with State Law. The notice must be SIGNED by the Tenant and the landlord has the burden of proof that the notice has been given.

We are further advised that several City County Council Members were elected on Tenant’s Rights platforms and, in cooperation with the Mayor’s Office (Eviction Lab) will be enacting MANY tenant rights ordinances with this being the first one.

We request as many landlords and investors as possible show up tonight and oppose this bill. We need your help: City County Building, 200 E Washington St, Indy. Room 260. Meeting begins at 5:30 p.m.

New to BP, but current investor with a couple of SFH properties here in Indiana.

Currently use Allstate because they are who I have used all my life but think I could do better.

Looking at multi family and asking for recommendations for Multi Fam property insurance.

Thanks!
