Thanks again y’all!
Contracted on the next rental with a garage. I look forward to learning all I can here and hope y’all had a great Labor Day!

Quote from @Corby Goade:

A garage is always a bonus. There are neighborhoods and cities where they aren't the norm, but there's no situation I can imagine where they wouldn't be "worth" it. In many places, no garage would be a deal breaker for end buyers and that eats in to your equity. In relative terms, a garage is cheap to build, especially if you are financing it with favorable terms.

Excellent point for sure, our previous house didn’t have a garage but in that area a garage would bump the price over 100k more than comparable homes so we couldn’t afford to swing it at the time.

How’s it going y’all? I’m new to BiggerPockets but have learned a lot from the youtube videos. My wife and I made a decent amount on selling our first home and are currently renting out our second and living on our in-laws property. Looking at moving into another now (likely a new build due to their financing incentives) to turn into another rental in the near future. Likely another starter home (around 14-1500sq ft) but wondering if a garage is worth the added cost.

I look forward to learning as much as I can here and hope y’all are having a great week!
