Hey guys, I'm fairly new here so if this is not the appropriate forum, forgive me. I'm interested in hearing your ideas on what improvements you'd recommend for the exterior of this 4plex to improve curb appeal. This is a buy/hold/rent property and in doing some improvements to the inside as to be able to raise rents, I don't want the exterior to be overlooked. Any suggestions on how to make this thing look good??? Thanks!

@Thomas S. Wow. Sure, sometimes we have to make temporary sacrifices, but to go so far as to say: “Work is not intended to be enjoyed. Go to work, shut down your mind, do your job and collect your paycheck.” Seriously? This might be the worst advice I’ve ever heard someone give on this subject... And then to discredit and degrade blue collar workers as being lowly” is unreal. And I really love that you use construction as an example. I actually work in the construction industry and know many highly educated and wealthy individuals in this field. And guess what? They love their job, get meaning from it, and are multi-millionaires.

@Whitney Breedlove You can definitely get plenty of quotes fir at least 50-60% less than this just by calling around. Just be sure to let them know you need a WPI-8! VERY crucial! If not, your insurance company could drop you. Being so close to the gulf coast, your insurance company will likely not cover windstorm damage unless you have a WPI-8 on file.
