I am not an expert in this area, but I asked a similar question on another forum where I only had one reply.  For me personally I believe it makes sense if it is possible to avoid the 10%.  My 403b is not my only retirement account.

I am a teacher and have a 403b retirement account that I had put cash into when I first started teaching. I also own 21 SFHs and am a little nervous about collecting rents for the next several months. My question is do you believe I would be eligible to early withdrawal from the retirement account? I do not have the coronavirus, and I have not lost my job. I believe the loss of rent would allow me to pull the money out of the account even though my current job where the 403b account is held has not been negatively effected. Thoughts??

I thought fees would be waived due to people being effected by the coronavirus. I had read something about it being part of the current stimulus.

What kind of debt to income ratio is a lender looking for with someone that is invested in real estate.

I am wanting to borrow a substantial amount of money, about 1.5 times my total net worth, from the bank in the next couple of months to purchase some turnkey rentals.  I have heard that a lender will typically only loan you your total net worth, so In general, what can I do to try to make this happen.

I bought my first rental in 2012 and currently own 20.  Again, in general, what can an individual do to make a banker decide to go ahead and pull the trigger on lending me more than my net worth.

Thank you in advance for your time.  And thank you Biggerpockets for the wealth of knowledge and the confidence to get past two rental properties.
