@Travis Rasmussen thanks for the reply! Probably could go up to about $700k, but the numbers would have to work out well. What type of returns are you seeing on your properties? Where are you currently buying and renting?

@Arlen Chou thank you for taking the time to give me advice. I will take a step back and look at the cost and benefits of the AirBNB model. Having had some minor success in buying and renting I am itching for my next deal, I am just having a difficult time finding any decent buy and hold cap rates and am trying to get creative. Do you have any experience in building to hold?

Hey @Travis Rasmussen! I currently have 3 condos in Highland, CA each rent for $1,200 with a $250 HOA. After all expenses the 3 units net me about $2,500 a month. Picked them up for around $60k each. They are good cashflow and always have renters but the neighborhood is a bit rough. I really want to get an AirBNB out in Palm Springs area. Any tips?

Hi guys! This is my first post after years of learning from this website. I currently have three cashflow properties in Socal and am looking for my next deal. Which of the three would you vote for and which would be the most viable? Assuming I have $180k cash at my disposal and the rest would have to be financed.

1. Build a 4 plex

2. Look for an Airbnb single family house

3. Buy an existing duplex

THANK YOU!
