Thanks.   You're I need to give specific information about my situation and what I'm looking for.   At present I'm in North Richmond Hill 11418.  I'm interested in Kew Gardens, Glendale, open to certain parts of Woodhaven.  My budget ranges from $1,500-1,800, but willing to pay more depending on area and apartment.

I'm a newbie poster  with BP interested in RE investing.  But before I can even start investing in real estate, I need to look into finding a primary place to live.  Currently living in a one-bedroom apartment and need more space.  I'm looking for a house rental but I am open to a 3 bedroom apartment for two working adults and two children (10 and 12 years old).  Any leads?  I'm also open to purchasing my first property and keeping it as primary home.  Thanks.

I've been mostly reading the posts here.  I've always been interested in real estate.  I want to get my feet wet in real estate investing but currently I'm educating myself on the ins and outs of becoming an RE investor.  I'm open to advice.  I feel that once I make that first deal things will fall into place.  My biggest hurdle will be coming up with money for my real estate ventures.  I'm reading up on everything on low and/or no money down investment opportunities.
