That’s great info! Thanks @Garett Weber. They have all been on the MLS so far, which I'm sure is part of the problem.

Thanks @Frank Rodrigues and @Garett Weber!  I appreciate the feedback. I definitely need to do better about networking. Thanks for offering to look at numbers, I may take you up on that. Do either of you have recommendations for areas to invest? So far I've been looking mostly in Belton and Raymore. I haven't found anything below $100k yet.

Hi Everyone,

I'm a newbie trying to get started in the Kansas City area. I'm looking to BRRRR as many properties as I can, as quickly as I can, in an effort to build cashflow and get out of my 9-5. I'm closing on a HELOC on my primary residence in the next couple of weeks for $95k. The first bunch of properties that an agent has sent me, after running the numbers, I'm having trouble still getting cash flow after the refi. How do I go about getting cash flow after the refi and also, what advice would you give to me, knowing my goal to build cashflow and get out of my 9-5? Thanks!

Hey Everyone,

I’m a new investor(speaking it into existence), yet to buy my first rental. I live in Blue Springs, Mo area and looking for good neighborhoods for rentals. It seems like the inventory is a little low right now? Is anybody else seeing this? Does anyone have good recommendations for neighborhoods in the area for good rentals?

Hi!

My name is Drew Wood and I’m looking to start my real estate investing journey. I’m from a small town in mid Missouri, but I currently live in Grain Valley, a suburb of Kansas City.

I’ve been working in clinical research for the last 6 years, but I would like to leave that industry sooner than later. My goal is to begin to obtain rental properties, small multi family preferably but I know I just need to get started however I can.

I’m at the point where I would like to start talking to lenders to see what my options are to start out, so any advice or recommendations would b greatly appreciated!

I look forward to connecting!

Hi Everyone,

I have some family that owns a commercial property in rural South Dakota. They’re looking to sell, but they’re having trouble finding a commercial appraiser to come to them. The property is about 20 minutes east of Aberdeen. Anybody know a commercial appraiser out that way?
