I found a property that had a reverse mortgage and the owner relinquished the property to the bank. The property has been empty for 6 months. Any tips in finding the bank to try and make an offer?

I am interested in buying a condo in Sun Valley Idaho and am not finding any information or experience with searches. Any BP members have any investing knowledge with the region? I have a family member that has had good success with his two vacation rentals.

I am looking for anyone with experience doing short term vacation rentals in the napa and sonoma area. Looking find a property to rent out for weekends but open to more often. When not rented would use to short commutes to work during the week. Some real estate agents have said there are areas that you can not list with airbnb and such. Does anyone know the best way to research restrictions for airbnb?

Thanks guys. I will keep waiting for the next cycle and keep an eye out. My wife and I currently aren't interested in searching out of state, might be the smart option but for now we will wait. Until that day come I'll continue to keep reading here at BP and try to attend some of the meet ups. 

Hi guys. I currently own and live in Martinez California and am interested in getting into investment property in placer county area. Mostly interested in property off Interstate 80, Rocklin, Loomis, Penryn, Newcastle, Auburn, Meadow Vista, and Roseville. 

I am interested in hearing from anyone who has had success finding cash flowing properties in this area. 

I have been blown away with the resources available here on BiggerPockets and podcast. Thanks for all the great info.
