Hey @Russell D. I'm also new at this, but the truth is that you have to start from some where. Do you have any investors you can talk to? or use the free training here.

Go on facebook and search for the real estate investors in your area. Get as much training as possible so you'll be confident enough to do stuff.

Start slow.

@Amaka Nzenaguora, thanks that's excellent advice. I don't know any investors that I can talk to, but hopefully that will be changing soon enough!

The longer I've lived here the more I've realized that wasn't exactly true and I've seen more opportunity than I had first thought. Thanks for giving me a giant sigh of relief though. That is doing good news indeed!

I know where Prescott Arizona is.

I didn't know there was a Prescott Michigan.

@Richard Dunlop I was in the same boat as you until I moved here! It's in Ogemaw County not far from Tawas. I still mess up and write Prescott, AZ sometimes lol!

@Levi Thank you, that makes sense, Im sure the confidence boost that comes with finishing that first deal really helps kickstart that next one. Good luck to you in getting that first deal! I hope that first one snowballs into many more for you!

Since I was about 15 years old I always knew I wanted to be in real estate. I don't know how to explain it but I've always just been fascinated by so many aspects of the business, fixing and flipping, construction, development, apartments with several units, commercial, all of it really just gives me an such a thrill to learn about and talk about and think about. Been that way like I said since I was about 15 years old or so. Now 16 years and several poor life choices later I'm no closer to even getting started on my dream than I was then. It seems hopeless that I will ever even get started when I look at my current situation but the dream stays alive. Anyways I just wanted to say hi :)
