I have found that the assessed "market value" is about 80% of actual. So 310/.80=387,500 ball park. Still get comps.

Question. I already own a home. If I want to buy a hud as owner occupant would that mean renting out current home to go live in hud for a year? I think I just answered my own question as "yes".

I'd also call the assessor and verify that tax amount. Almost 5k for taxes on a condo under 200k? I heard everything is bigger in Texas but dang! That's expensive.

@Terry Alexander  my finance guy said debt to income ratio needs to be under 45% but also there is a Debt to Credit Limit ratio that maxes out at 68%. So my understanding is that if you first take your income and figure how much debt you can handle you can then plug that number into the second equation and figure out your credit limit.

What kind of siding? I remember back in the day I got a quote for vinyl siding and they wanted $15k. I did some volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and they taught me how to do it. I ended up spending $1500 to do it myself. You could also just watch some YouTube videos. Just sayin.

That does suck and thank for sharing it and like another reader said "Paying it forward" . I've been looking at e mails from a wholesaler called Home Vestors Western Properties, LLC and in the notes it says "non refundable $3,000 earnest money deposit". I'm like "WTF!?"

Thanks for sharing that. I have the big name bank that my loan was sold to.
