Thanks everyone for these responses. I figured people would be split but it seems almost unanimous that its a non-issue since this is a secluded retreat property. It's a unique property that has a lot of potential but I wanted to be sure the road isn't an issue.

Would people need 4 wheel drive or do you think a regular car like a camry would do fine? It was in pretty rough shape. I have to ask the other houses to chip in and who knows how long that could take

It's a very long dirt road, about 1000ft

Hi All,

I'm looking at a great property at a great price but it's on a dirt road in the Poconos.

It's the type of place I'm looking to get $1000 a night, 9bedrooms, etc. so it would be something groups use for retreats or family reunions etc, which means a lot of cars getting in and out.

It's a very bumpy dirt and gravel road, looks like it's never been regraded, in a heavily wooded area. Neighbors plow the road in the winter. It's not up a hill, just flat road.

Is the dirt road a deal breaker?

Thanks in advance

David
