For investors of all levels we will be trained on How to Analyze a Deal. The in's and out's to see if the numbers make sense on a deal. What things everyone forgets to calculate that can make or break a deal for you.

Davis County Real Estate Investor Group--presentation by Doug Cary. With over 700 real estate sales in the last 15 years Doug will be teaching about negotiating techniques.  He will cover how to know which techniques to use and when.

We will be discussing all the aspects of buying deals 1-3. We will discuss the mindset, selling your spouse on the idea, finding a deal, financing, and renting it.

A guest accountant is speaking on the tax benefits of owning real estate. He'll also be there to answer tax questions at the end time permitting. 

We meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the same location.

Yes it's a single family home.  I'm getting away from self managing and I have a property manager now.

I found a deal in Ogden. I paid cash through an equity line 2 weeks ago at $161,000.  It will need about $25,000 which is a little fix up, paint, carpet, and a whole new yard (this is the biggest expense).  I'm going to refinance before the yard goes in and be in it under $170,000 and it should appraise around at $200,000 or more.  I'll let you all know how that goes.

Are there any BP members out here in Ogden or nearby finding success doing BRRRR's? I'd love to find out where you're seeing are the best areas.
