Ah. That's the big question. In my case, it sometimes hard to convince her in big investment when I have no experience. BUT if she hears it from a wealthy experienced invester, that can probably turn the tide. A mentor would be handy.

Also consider the fact that it's not a hard requirement that you have good financials, I've just heard it makes your life easier if you do.

Hi, Luis. Thanks for the response. I'm actually doing pretty well for myself. I have 5 credit cards, score of about 750, and make decent money. Worked pretty hard for myself. But I'm at the point where I'd like to have a bit of more financial freedom. It's why I'm interested in this new venture

I think the best plan of attack (at least for me) with either the little money I have to none, is to build capital. Is to start wholesale using direct mailing until I have enough to buy my first rental. If there are other options, I'm all ears.

Syndicating doesn't seem like my cup of tea. And looks like I need at least 6 figures to get started. Or I may be wrong?  Not yet well versed in it yet. It seems like there is more to it than what was described to me in this thread.

This is a wealth of information and I love it! I'm so glad I found this site. I learn better from experienced Investors than just watching videos and reading books. I'll definitely be utilizing this forum to get the best results. Thank you!

hello, thanks for your feedback! May I ask what are Syndicated deals?

I don't have 100k, but I do have the ambition to move forward and find something I can afford. I also see that partnerships is another beneficial strategy when it comes to REI.

When I do purchase my first renting property, I would definitely hire a property management team/company to handle that aspect.

Thanks!

Hi, and thanks for your response. I live in Palm Coast, FL. There is a lot, and I mean a LOT of housing here, but their prices are too high. So I may be looking elsewhere.

Hello, all! Little bit about myself. I own a digital marketing agency helping small business owners with web development, SEO, logo designs and sone advertising marketing. I own a home with a Wife and 2 kids.

Life is good and comfortable for now. Working hard and make decent amount of money. But I'd like to get to the point of a passive income lifestyle. Running an agency is good, but want more freedom. So this passed year I've had a growing interest in real estate investing and not sure how to go about it.

I know I'd like to own rental properties, but not sure where to start. I've inquired about HELOCs and from what I was told is that I would get anywhere from $30k to $35k.

Is that amount good to start with? Would it be best to find a partner?

Thanks i. Advance

Donovan
