I recently had a free consultation with @Marcus Maloney about my wholesaling strategy. Marcus was very helpful and provided me with lots of valuable information to help me get started.

He offers this free to anyone so if you’re just getting started its a great way to get any question answered. He didn’t try to sell me anything and all he asks is that you come prepared with questions.

Hope this helps someone else getting started.

@Jordan Moorhead I hadn't considered a single family with an ADU before. I like the idea of using the duplex alot. Thanks for sharing!

@Jordan Moorhead Thanks for pointing that out. I’ve considered that as well but I haven’t found many Multi-families in Austin. Maybe I’m not looking in the right places though. Could you elaborate on how you personally would house hack if you were just getting started in Austin?

Hey @Rick Reeder, thanks! I’d love to hear about how you’ve seen Austin develop over the years!

Hi BP family! I’m a young guy who’s trying to use creative ways to invest in Real Estate. I love learning about Real Estate and want to finally do something with all that I’ve learned so far. I’m specifically looking to make connections with BP family in the Austin, TX area.

My initial plan is to start with wholesaling and then expand into Multi families in the future. My goal is to own a large portfolio one day. But, I know that in order to get there I need to start somewhere.

The most important thing for me right now is to make connections, continue to learn, and to take action. If anyone has any suggestions for someone like me who is just starting out I’d love to hear from you!
